Oracle Mobile
Approvals for Oracle E-Business Suite supports the most used approval types in
the initial release, including expenses, requisitions, purchase orders,
recruitment vacancies and offers.  More approval types will be added in
subsequent releases

Release details:

Compatible with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1.3
as well as Release 12.2.3 and above
Available on iOS, and Android availability planned
Initial release of the app supports English;
translations to all languages supported by E-Business Suite (with the
exception of bi-di languages) are planned
Available to Oracle E-Business Suite customers as part
of an existing E-Business Suite license; no new “mobile” license
is required
Built with ADF Mobile Framework using REST services; no
additional technology required

Mobile computing has quickly
become the new norm in business. Professionals need the flexibility to rapidly
execute time-critical tasks on the go and from any location. To keep pace with
the demands of an increasingly mobile workforce, Oracle E-Business is planning
a wide array of intuitive, purpose-built, mobile applications that let users
focus on the key information they need, while completing business tasks with
just a few taps.  Initial set of apps address horizontal functions used by
most employees such as approvals, timecards and expenses.  These apps will
be followed by line of business apps focused on procurement, projects,
materials management, manufacturing, maintenance, and more.

How
to Get and Deploy the App

You can download Oracle E-Business Suite
Smartphone Applications directly from the Apple Store and run them on Oracle
Business Suite 12.1.3 or 12.2.3 – the same client-side code runs with either
release. 

To use this app, you must be
a user of Oracle E-Business Suite, with mobile services configured on the
server side by your administrator.

For each app, an administrator performs a
simple, one-time enablement using server-side patches. For deployment
instructions, see Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Apps Administrator’s Guide
for Release 12.1 and Release 12.2 (MOS Doc ID 1642431.1).
